Copyright
- The international symbol for copyright is the letter C with a circle around it.
- Copyright protects creators' work.
- Copyright laws cover many kinds of creations, including this book !
- Copyright also protects images, music, movies, games, computer software, and
websites.

When you use copyrighted content, you should :
a. Respect the creator's work and use it fairly.
b. Ask for permission to use it.
c. Attribute it (or give credit) to the creator.

Are there sources on the internet that don't fall under copyright?
a. Creative commons: Sometimes the owner of a creative work gives
permission to reuse his work at any time and any place, so we can use it freely .
b. What is NOT covered by copyrights?
- works in the public domain - facts
- discoveries - official documents such as laws
- creative works whose owner has been dead for 50 years
Public domain and creative common
- Sources in the public domain and with Creative Commons reuse licenses can be
used without a creator's permission.

Written Content:

2. The second is to paraphrase ideas in your own style.

1. Creative Commons Reuse Licenses:
It means the creator has given permission for their work to be used anytime and anywhere.

2. Public Domain:
It includes all creative works not covered by copyright law.
In Egypt, creative works normally enter the public domain 50 years after the creator of the work dies.
