Arousal of needs & motives in consumers - How psychologically, emotional factors influence arousal of needs and motives. Consumer behaviour application

How needs and motives are aroused by complex internal and external impulses and desires.
What arouses people's needs for r love, affection, pleasure, approval of others, taste, safety, physical appearance, home comfort, sleep, cleanliness etc
how about arousal of needs like curiosity, cooperation, competition, style, adventure, amusement, gratitude to God or a higher power and many others.
The arousal of any specific set of needs is caused by internal and external impulses or desires. Most of our needs, tend to be dormant most of the time.
Needs and motives, tend to vary for different people, even when they appear to be in a the same, or similar situation.
People with different needs, may seek to satisfy them through the same goals, while people with the same needs, may seek fulfilment through different goals.
People may be motivated, by the same need, say the physical need, to lose weight, yet each will tend to seek satisfaction in different ways.
One will go for diet; Another will go for exercise – say join a gym, while another, will start jogging.
If motive is fighting against Gender based violence (GBV) - may trigger different approaches eg creating awareness with anti GBV campaigns; legal and administrative interventions against GBV, leading an anti – GBV organisation.
This matters to consumer behaviour and marketing because, it’s a sure way of helping tap into the many diverse needs of consumers and to design marketing strategies.
There are so many human needs and they are all subject to the arousal processes.
This video features 4 factors that influence arousal of needs or motives - from physiological arousal to environmental arousal.
This is based on psychology and motivation - consumer motivation.
