0:20 Primary structure
The primary structure is the sequence of amino acids that make up a polypeptide chain. 20 different amino acids are found in proteins. The exact order of the amino acids in a specific protein is the primary sequence for that protein
1:12 Secondary structure
Secondary structure refers to regular, recurring arrangements in space of adjacent amino acid residues in a polypeptide chain. It is maintained by hydrogen bonds between amide hydrogens and carbonyl oxygens of the peptide backbone. The major secondary structures are α-helices and β-structures

6:20 Bonus section
---------------
Protein structure can be described in terms of four levels of organization – primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structure. The primary structure is simply the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide chain, and it is important to remember that this sequence contains all the information necessary for the higher orders of structure. The secondary structure is formed by hydrogen-bond interactions of adjacent amino acids. Large numbers of such local interactions form α-helices and β-pleated sheets
