نبذة عن المتحدث : Rakel is an architect,Designer&Craftswoman,born and raised in Iceland, growing up riding horses over the volcanoes and driving big four wheel Hummers over deep rivers of Iceland. At a young age she then moved from Iceland and through life she has lived in a different cities like, London, Paris, Milan and New York and today she is based in her Copenhagen tower were she has her creative studio Rakel Karls.Rakel Karls work primarily involves designing housing, furniture, collectible design pieces and as a creative consultant for projects she gets hired to – often by world-renowned companies like, Snøhetta, BIG, Sweco and Restaurant Barr.Rakel Karls is knowned for her craftsmanship, working with steel, wood and leather. Most of her inspirations comes from being inspired of what is within us, nature and cities, traveling different places, either on a train, plane or riding on her Harley.
