How to Draw a Room in 1-Point Perspective:
Draw a dot or cross in the middle of your page.
This cross is the Vanishing Point. All parallel lines, lines that in real life do not get closer or further apart, will go towards this Vanishing Point.
For this drawing I draw the floorboards first, and all the lines of these floorboards would meet at the Vanishing Point.
This is true for all the sides of the furniture, the tables and shelves, if the lines are going away, they would all end up at the Vanishing Point.
But any shapes that we are looking straight at, like the bookcases and square draws at the back of the workshop, all these lines are vertical or horizontal, this is because they are not going away from us, but are all at the same distance, therefore there is no perspective.
