يسرنا أن نعلن عن محاضرة بعنوان "استخدام تكنولوجيا (الحمض النووي الريبوزي) في علاج سرطان الرئة" يقدمها الدكتور محمد الجندي
*نبذة عن المحاضرة:-
"Novel RNA-based therapeutic options for lung cancer treatment "
Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) represent a large class of the human transcriptome that contribute to various biological processes. The past decade witnessed a tremendous increase in high throughput sequencing applications that proved the importance of lncRNAs in disease progression. As expected, lncRNAs modulate cancer onset and development. Utilizing thousands of tumor tissues, we identified an oncogenic lncRNA termed as SCAT7. Targeting SCAT7 with novel antisense molecules inhibited the growth of lung tumors in experimental animals, providing new hopes for cancer treatment.
معلومات عن المحاضر الدكتور محمد الجندي :-
- تخرج في كلية العلوم، جامعة الإسكندرية عام 2009
- حصل علي ماجستير التكنولوجيا الحيوية من جامعة شونام الوطنية من كوريا الجنوبية في عام 2014
- حصل على الدكتوراه في الطب الحيوي والبيولوجيا الجزيئية من جامعة جوتنبرج بالسويد في عام ٢٠١٩
- وهو حالياً باحث ما بعد الدكتوراة بقسم الكيمياء الحيوية الطبية والميكروبيولوجي بجامعة اوبسالا بالسويد
